| Bleak Midwinter single: out now |
Haunted announce the release of their debut single, Bleak Midwinter, available to listen to for free on YouTube and Bandcamp.
This song was written as a reflection of the death and sombre darkness that the winter brings as she plummets, the greyness she bleeds upon the Earth and her dense, smothering fog that burdens the air and mind.
Haunted is a new black metal / blackgaze project created by myself, Hysteria, a sole female musician, who is conceptually inspired to make music that weaves the polarising beauty and misery of existence together into atmospheric musical pieces, attempting to find peace with the mind, nature and being through confrontation of the void.
Bleak Midwinter will also be released on a two song EP, also titled Bleak Midwinter, later this spring. I also have plans for a second EP to follow Bleak Midwinter, so make sure to subscribe to the website at the end of the page to be informed of all Haunted's activity.
